What does tolerance percentage mean?

The tolerance percentage controls how much visual change is allowed before InfraBeacon alerts you.

Choosing a tolerance value

  • Lower values (1-10%) - More sensitive. Good for pages that should stay almost identical, such as legal pages or key landing pages.
  • Medium values (10-25%) - Balanced. Good for most websites where small changes are fine, but larger changes should be checked.
  • Higher values (25-50%) - Less sensitive. Useful for pages with changing content, such as news feeds or dashboards.

Default setting

The default tolerance is 15%, which works well for many pages. Adjust it based on how much your page normally changes.
