When you are doing planned maintenance, or you expect a short issue, you can snooze alerts. This stops unnecessary notifications while monitoring continues.
How to snooze
- Go to your uptime monitor's settings.
- Find the snooze or alert settings section.
- Select how long to snooze alerts.
What happens during snooze
- Monitoring continues as normal
- All checks are recorded
- Uptime statistics are still updated
- No alert emails are sent
Ending snooze early
You can cancel the snooze at any time from the monitor settings. Alerts will resume immediately.
Best practices
Only snooze for as long as you need. If maintenance finishes early, cancel the snooze so InfraBeacon can alert you if something unexpected happens.
