InfraBeacon sends email alerts for important monitor events, including downtime, recoveries, visual changes and expiry warnings.
Types of alerts
- Downtime alerts — Sent when an uptime monitor detects that a site or endpoint is down, and again when it recovers.
- Visual change alerts — Sent when a screenshot monitor detects a change that exceeds the monitor's tolerance threshold.
- Server alerts — Sent when a server monitor reports resource or availability issues that cross configured thresholds.
- Domain expiry alerts — Sent before a monitored domain registration expires.
- SSL expiry alerts — Sent before a monitored SSL certificate expires.
Setting alert recipients
You can manage alert contact groups in your account and choose which group each monitor should notify. This lets you route different monitors to different people or teams without changing the monitor itself.
Snoozing alerts
If you are performing maintenance or expect temporary issues, you can snooze alerts for a specific monitor to avoid unnecessary notifications. Monitoring continues while alerts are snoozed.
